Meet Coach Gary!

Coach Cloud has been involved in volleyball for over 30 years at all different levels of play, ages, and skill. He started his love of volleyball as a manager of the women’s volleyball team at Grace Christian University in Michigan in the mid-90s. From there he has gone on to play intramural and recreational men’s and co-ed leagues and has coached all ages from 12u-18u. Many of his previous players have gone on to play at colleges and universities around the country. Coach Cloud brings a passion for learning, winning, and growing to every team he coaches in an effort to bring out the very best in every player and person he interacts with.

Coaching Experience

• Coached Back-to-Back High School State Championships with Ridgeline Academy in 2023 and & 2024
• Twice was named CAA HS Coach of the Year
• Coached 18u National team to a third-place tournament finish in 2025
• Gold Medal Squared (GMS) trained
• Coached Club 12U-18U Male and Female teams
