Meet Coach Amy!

Amy is an Arizona native and has been coaching volleyball for over a decade! Her passion for the sport began at the young age of 8 years old and it continues to grow year after year working with athletes who share the same passion and drive to learn and grow. 


From 2017-2018, she was the varsity assistant at Shadow Mountain High School. Amy was the head JV coach and varsity assistant at Notre Dame Prep from 2019-2021. In 2022, she became the varsity assistant at Sandra Day O’Connor HS where she stayed for 2 seasons and returned for another season with the Eagles in 2025.
 
Amy played at Horizon High School and was a back to back state champion in 2009 and 2010. She received All Team Honorable Mention in 2010 as a senior and was a scholar athlete.
 
After high school, Amy attended Whittier College and received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition Science. She graduated Cum Laude in 2015. She also received her Arizona teaching credentials in 2017 and taught middle school PE for 3 years. Her love of learning continues to this day and she plans on getting her Masters in Sports Nutrition in the near future.


When Amy is not coaching, she enjoys working out and spending time with her two sons and husband.
